Simple Pleasures Yarns

Welcome to Simple Pleasures Farm.

Here in the rolling hills of upstate New York, we produce a variety of very special yarns.  Our fibers are "home grown", produced right here on the farm.  We are home to a flock of fiber animals, including a variety of sheep, Angora Goats (who produce mohair), and an angora bunny.  We keep our flock small and make it a priority to treat them humanely.  We do not slaughter for meat, ever.  Our animals are considered to be "pets", rather than livestock.  In return, we are rewarded with gorgeous wool and mohair.

Some of our yarns are hand spun.  Others are sent to a mill to be processed and returned to us ready to dye and sell.

If you are a knitter who really wants a unique product that is not "run of the mill", we think our yarns will help create a very special knitting experience.

Again, welcome to our farm, via our web site.  Feel free to take a look around.

Sincerely,

Sheila and Nancy
